Benefits of Unvented Hot Water Cylinders
These offer the highest pressure hot water systems and are particulary suitable for high pressure showers.
The cylinder is supplied with cold water directly from the cold water mains and then heated and pressurised before going to the taps. To work best they need a 22mm cold water mains connection directly from the cold water supply.

Suitable for larger homes where multiple hot water outlets may be used at the same time.

Virtually no stored water contamination risk.
No shower pumps that need constantly replacing.

Unvented hot water cylinders cannot be used if you heat your house by solid fuel as these boilers do not have a high temperature interlock.
Colsterworth Plumbing Ltd are registered with BPEC (Cert No 209340) and able to self certify Unvented Hot Water Cylinder Installations.
When the installation is finished a building control certificate will be completed showing that the installation complies fully with Building Regulation G3 and issued to the home owner. This certificate is an essential document when a property is sold so please keep in a safe place.
